This policy explains how Infotechnics Limited uses personal data collected through www.infotechnics.com. We have kept it short and plain.

Who we are

Infotechnics Limited is the controller of the personal data described here. We are a private limited company registered in Scotland, company number SC200640.

What we collect and why

• Demo requests. When you use the Book a demo form we collect your name, work email, company, and which products you want to see (Opralog, Mobilog, or not sure yet). Role, phone number and a message are optional. We use these to reply to your enquiry and arrange a demonstration. The form is emailed to our sales team. If you pick a demo time on the booking page, that step is provided by Calendly under Calendly’s terms and privacy notice.
• Emails you send us. If you email sales@infotechnics.com or support@infotechnics.com, we receive your email address, your name and whatever you include in the message. We use it to answer you and, for customers, to provide support.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the website and keep it secure.

We do not use this website for advertising, and we do not sell personal data.

The client area at support.infotechnics.com is a separate system with its own terms. This policy does not cover it.

Our lawful bases

• Legitimate interests: responding to business enquiries and demo requests, and running and securing our website.
• Contract: providing support and services to our customers under their agreement with us.
• Legal obligation: where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.

Who we share data with

Our website is hosted by Wix.com, which also runs the Book a demo form and stores form submissions. Wix acts as our processor and handles data only on our instructions. We may also share information where the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

International transfers

Wix may process data outside the UK, including in the United States and the European Economic Area. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum to standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it for, such as dealing with your enquiry or supporting your organisation as a customer, and then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it for longer.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability where it applies. Making a request is free of charge. To make one, email sales@infotechnics.com. We will reply within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and whether the demo form or booking link is used. Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) that last up to two years. They are only set if you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you choose Reject, or make no choice, no analytics cookies are set. We do not use advertising cookies.

Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask again. You can change it at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Our hosting provider, Wix, may set strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and working, and the Book a demo form keeps a short-lived access token in your browser’s session storage so it can send your request. These are needed for the site to work, so they do not require consent.

The booking calendar on the Book a demo page is provided by Calendly. It may set its own cookies and shows its own cookie banner, so you can choose which optional Calendly cookies to allow.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
